Surfers Paradise Outrigger Canoe Club, invites you to enter one of the fastest growing sports along the Australian seaboard, the amazing world of Polynesian Outrigger Canoeing.

The First outrigger canoe club was founded in 1908 in the Polynesian islands of Hawaii, Outrigger canoeing, a ‘blue water’ sport, fits perfectly into Australian Culture. It provides for an outdoor activity which develops strong bodies and minds resulting from a sport which is physically and mentally demanding.

This sport requires commitment, respect and a passion of the ocean environment.


 

Juniors Come and Try Fun Day!

Saturday 24th February 09:00am to 11:00am

Get ready for a morning of fun and entertainment on the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater!

For boys and girls aged between 10 to 16 years of age, here's your chance to try a new adventure in Outrigger Canoeing.

Make new friends, learn new skills and develop teamwork in a variety of fun water activities.

All equipment is provided, and we'll even feed the kids with an egg and bacon roll!
