Once the membership form has been completed and all fees (Aocra & Club) have been paid including any Aocra transfers, the club treasurer/registrar will touch with you and arrange to have you added to the club’s private members facebook group.

As with any sport, there are costs. To simplify matters, we have detailed these below:

AOCRA Insurance.  These fees are paid directly to AOCRA (“Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association”) to cover you in the unlikely event of an accident whilst paddling. You can pay this online if you have a VISA / MASTERCARD.  This needs to be paid immediately after you have completed your 3 free sessions.

• Click on Log in/Join
• Select – I’m not a Member – I want to Join
• Select Zone – SQ Zone
• Select Club – Surfers Paradise Outrigger Canoe Club
• Complete balance of details and payment

Once registered, our Club Registrar will be notified accordingly.  Please note:  Membership will not be accepted until club fees have also been paid.

Club Membership Fees

Club Membership fees are due and payable on 1st July and are as follows:

• Adults (18+ years of age ) $250 (Full voting rights)
• Minnows (8-9 years of age) – $75 (No voting rights)
• Juniors (10-17 years of age) – $100 (No voting rights)

Full club membership gives you the opportunity to train and to compete representing SPOCC at local regattas, National Titles and any other events the club is participating in pending team selection (separate race entry fees are payable to attend regattas) and the opportunity to hire the Club V1 once signed off by the Coaches/MC (Adults only).

Club Fees can be paid directly into the club bank account (details below).  EFT is the preferred payment method.  Please email our Club Treasurer advising of payment made at treasurer@surfersparadiseoutriggers.com.au
